When I decided to attend the Yale Book Publishing course one of my objectives was to listen for information that would be beneficial for small publishers in Australia who are commencing their digital journey.
The CAL Digital Publishing Trends Survey stated that just over a quarter of publisher respondents did not yet have a digital strategy. I imagine it’s hard to divert time and financial resources into the digital business when you are focussed on your main source of income. Update: It’s also careful to think about those who classified as publishers and are self-published authors.
